About the publication

In this project we wanted to investigate the performance and efficiency of different possible components of such a thermal storage cooking system, to establish overall feasibility of such components and the system as a whole, and we wanted to explore how the most appropriate and complementary of these could be integrated into low-cost appropriate systems. We planned to test them for performance and user-acceptability in Uganda and Tanzania with local partners, and investigate the potential for manufacturing them in-country in local microenterprises.
